Describing the difference between risk taking versus learning how to manage a risk involves knowing how to complete a task in the first place. Or being able to regulate yourself without any one else’s support whilst you work things out yourself. Do you need to work with others to get feedback about how you did or to get different ideas about what to do? Why? Have you been exposed to enough information about what is happening so that the pathway in front of you is something familiar? So that you are aware of the challenges set out in front of you and know how to react and what resources to bring into it or to use as you go?
